Apostle Lyndon B. Hutcherson
Our Apostle is Bishop Lyndon B. Hutcherson. Bishop Hutcherson was called into the ministry on August 12, 1990 while serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Persian Gulf War.

He received his call to ministry from the Holy Spirit while reading Ephesians 2:8-9..."For by grace are you saved through faith, it is the gift of God; not of works so that no man can boast".

As I remember: it was a bright light in my eyes, a warm feeling in my heart, and tears on my face. The Holy Spirit kept saying..for by grace are "you" saved through faith". I kept saying, but Lord I don't deserve it. The Holy Spirit said. "It is by grace, the undeserved favor of God is upon you". That was the first time that I heard God's voice.

You see, eventhough I had read the Bible many times completely through I did not have a relationship with Jesus and had never heard His voice before that day. The scriptures say: "My sheep know my voice and a stranger, they will not follow" (John 10:4-5).

I then began sharing the gospel openly with my fellow airmen, by writing a scripture text on index cards and placing it in our tent. I called them "thoughts for today". I did not even know that I was ministering to others until one day another airman asked me, 'Why didn't you change the thought for today'.

I have never stopped sharing the gospel since!

The next year I returned back to the United States with a call and mission to provide for the sick, poor and elderly and those in distress and to reach the lost with the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Amazing Grace Ministry was founded on May 20, 1992 as an outreach to the sick, poor and elderly, providing them with food, clothing and shelter.

I voluntarily separated from the military in June 1992, and at the same time I enrolled in seminary where I received my Theology degree in 1998. I ministered at several local churches: Non-Denominational, Baptist, Methodist, Holiness and Presbyterian... etc while in S.C. Let me say; it is not about what we call "church"!

The Lord began to use me in the areas of teaching and evangelism for about 8 years and then something else profound happened.

I went on vacation to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, just to get away and hear from God and WOW! Did I ever hear from Him.

As I was traveling up one of the mountain peaks, a thick cloud covered the mountain and it started to rain. The cloud became so thick that I had to stop the car. So, I pulled over at the next overlook area I reached and the wind started to blow fiercely and I heard God speak the second time..."Destroy The Yoke in Roanoke".. I asked Virginia? The Holy Spirit said, no Alabama. I remember asking does such a place exist, I've never heard of that place before?
On my back down the mountain to my hotel room. I stopped at a gas station and picked up a map of the souteastern US and looked at Alabama and sure enough there it was; Roanoke, Alabama.

It was in that same hotel room, that the Holy Spirit revealed to me the vision we have today> To establish Worship and Training Centers in the southeastern US with Roanoke, AL as my base of operations; To restore worship and rebuild lives with the Word of God; To provide for the practical needs of believers worldwide and To establish small groups for teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer.

I tested God's patience and to be honest with you I was afraid to make the move, because I would have to leave behind everything in my life that I felt comfortable with. My parents, my children. my job and my ministry. I felt this way up until I finally realized that none of these things or people were mine. They all belonged to God!

When it came right down to the truth, I was really having a hard time saying good bye to Me, Myself and I.

It's not about religion, it's about relationship!

It's not about church, it's about the Kingdom of God!

It's not about you, it's about Jesus!

So, there you have it, one man saved by grace (the undeserved favor of God) and given a vision of the universal work of Christ.

We all have sins, "If we claim to be without sins, we deceive yourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and purify of from all unrighteousness. If you claim that you have not sinned, you make God out to be a liar and His Word has no place in you."
(1John 8-10)

Have you accepted Jesus Christ of Nazareth as your personal Lord and Savior? If you would like to get to know him better, I would like to help you: You can be saved right now, where you are, you do not have to change one thing about yourself. Here is what you must do: REPENT (turn from your own ways, to the things of God)ask God to show you the areas of your life where you have errored, be baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

God loves you enough to have you read this..." God so loved the world (that includes you and me) that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus), so that whosoever believes on Him will not perish, but that we might have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.(John 3:16-17)

Say this prayer out Loud with me... Father, I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God, that he died for my sins and that you have raised Him from the dead. Now I want to receive your Holy Spirit. Amen

Let me know about your decision, so that we can connect you with others for teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer.

There is rejoicing in heaven right now, because the angels rejoice over one sinner that repents.

Welcome into God' family!

Shalom
